The Company has highly skilled and trained staff employed to undertake projects ranging from large sports stadiums to small fields or parks which owns and operates a comprehensive plant inventory of equipment that ensures projects are undertaken with modern efficient equipment that offer the right solutions for our clients.

Our management team consists of an experienced group of people who understand all aspects of the Company’s business that enable us to offer “value management solutions” to our customers.

The Company is capable of the completion of on time projects due to the physical resources, the organizational structure and financial capacity of the business.

M. Collins & Sons (Contractors) Pty Limited has the financial capacity to undertake works ranging up to five (5) million dollars in value. Recently, the Company has completed a $2.3 million contract for Wagga Wagga City Council (2012) at Robertson Oval and $3.3 million contract for Blacktown City Council (2009) at Blacktown Olympic Park.

Rockdale Council - Ador Reserve - 2013

Topdressing of the oval including laser levelling.  Returfing of the reserve with our Village Green Turf.

St Mary's Football Club - 2013

To design and construct a training field at St Mary’s.

Australian Turf Club - 2013

Kensington Track – supply and laid 40,000 square metres of Washed Village Green.

Robertson Oval, Wagga Wagga - 2012

To transform Robertson Oval, Wagga Wagga by designing and constructing a first class multi purpose field of elite play performance standards for AFL, Cricket, Rugby Union/League and Soccer.

RAS Homebush - Transformation of the Sydney Show Arena - 2012

M. Collins & Sons (Contractors) Pty Limited transformed the main arena into a Multi-Use AFL Homeground for the Greater Western Sydney Giants.

Ku-ring-gai Council - Comenarra & Roseville Oval - 2010

Reconstruction of each oval including the installation of a drainage system and returfing with Legend Couch..

Blacktown City Council - 2009

Project involved a contract to construct two (2) full size AFL ovals, including 20,000 tonnes growing medium, 40,000 metres washed couch and two cricket wickets and a practice facility.

Blacktown Ciy Council - Blacktown Olympic Park - 2008

The Company was awarded the contract to convert the surface to an International Baseball Stadium and revert to Showground mode for the 1999 and 2000 seasons on behalf of the Olympic Co-Ordination Authority. The scope of works included drainage, irrigation, soil preparation works, baseball running track installation and establishment and contract maintenance.

Village Green University of NSW - 2004

Ground preparation, supply and installation of Washed Legend Turf to the existing ground surface

Aussie Stadium - 2003

Supply and installation of turf in both 2003 and 2001.

Australian Jockey Club Randwick - 2001

Supply and installation of growing medium and gravel to the amount of 50,000 cubic metres.

RAS Baseball Arena - 2000 (Homebush)

Renovation and conversion works comprising turf surface renovation to the baseball mode.

Sydney Cricket Ground - 2000

Reconstruction of the grounds – supplied the cricket wicket soil/drainage gravel and growing medium.

Supply and installation of washed Legend Couch.

Sydney International Equestrian Centre - 2000

Construction of Turf Cross COuntry Tracks for the Sydney Olympics 2000.

Canterbury Racecourse - 1997

The company supplied the specified growing medium and kikuyu for the reconstruction of the Course Proper.

Doomben Racecourse - 1996

Supplied 50,000 sq metres of Kikuyu for the returfing of the Course Proper.

Aussie Stadium - 1988

Complete construction of playing field surface including sub soil drainage/gravel and the growing medium.

North Sydney Oval - 1984

Total reconstruction of the oval.
