GREEN WASTE OPERATIONS:

Recycling has been a major structural change within the company in recent years. Our principal recycling activities involve green waste composting and the use of excavated material from the Sydney building industry.

This diverts large quantities of filling from landfills, converting them into marketable products for the garden and landscape industries as well as the building industry. The government initiative has established new industry standards for green waste composting to ensure composted products comply with Australian standards. The depot is located in a region zoned for extractive industries to facilitate the use of natural resources such as soil and sand extracted on site.

Innovative technology has been introduced to recycle vast quantities of naturally excavated materials from the building industry to produce, for example, concrete and brick laying sand.
