GREEN WASTE OPERATIONS:

Recycling has been a major structural change within the company in recent years. Our principal recycling activities involve green waste composting and the use of excavated material from the Sydney building industry.

This diverts large quantities of filling from landfills, converting them into marketable products for the garden and landscape industries as well as the building industry.The depot is located in a region zoned for extractive industries to facilitate the use of natural resources such as soil and sand extracted on site.

Innovative technology has been introduced to recycle vast quantities of naturally excavated materials from the building industry to produce, for example, concrete and brick laying sand.

Collins has always striven to produce innovative products and the Collins range of products continues this tradition. By combining recycled greenwaste compost with our naturally extracted soil, we are able to offer a unique and rich growing medium.
