M. Collins & Sons has been involved in the turf industry since its inception. Today the Collins turf farms are able to offer a wide variety of improved turf grasses to the landscape and sports field industry.
Professionally trained greenkeepers cultivate vast acres of improved turf grasses under stringent quality procedures. Turf is cultivated in selected growing media to ensure after transplanting it is compatible with properties of soil types used in playing fields and landscaping projects. Washed turf is processed using the most up to date facilities in the country. Turf may be harvested as conventional mini rolls or maxi rolls.
All the company’s Sportsturf products are supported with sound technical expertise and service. A Turf laying service is provided by the company’s own contracting specialist team. Turf can be pre booked and grown to individual clients needs, it is delivered direct from the farm at Camden where it has been cut the previous afternoon.

The turf is maintained for and to client requirements.

• Approximately 50 sq metres per pallet which is the equivalent of one tonne in weight.

• Turf is delivered daily by company owned turf truck and on arrival turf is unloaded on to the ground with a tailgator.

• Minimum delivered quantity 50sq metres.

• Delivery is free for orders over 100sq metres. Orders between 50 and 100 sq metres will incur a $55 delivery fee.
